Head of Manufacturing BU

Purpose

Owns Manufacturing P&L; targets 85%+ capacity utilization, <1.5% defect rate, and ISO certifications.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee Ethiopia plant operations.
• Ensure 40% internal supply target to Construction BU.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing.
• Coordinate EAC tariff-free export logistics.

Qualifications

• Master's in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Management
• 12+ years manufacturing leadership (pre-cast, steel, heavy materials)
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred

Performance indicators

• Capacity utilization ≥ 85%
• Defect/Rejection rate < 1.5%
• 40% internal supply to Construction achieved
• Achieve (by 2028) and maintain ISO 9001/14001/45001 certifications
• Internal Supply Target 40% met on time
