Group Chief Executive Officer (Group CEO)

Purpose

To act as the Chief Executive of Damot Investment Co. Ltd., holding full accountability for the Group's P&L, strategic execution, market expansion, and ExCo leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Execute the Group Strategic Plan; drive revenue growth toward the $150M+ target and EBITDA margins; lead Group Strategy & BD (PPP bids, donor engagement, AfCFTA).
• ExCo Management: Lead the Executive Committee (COO, CFO, HR Director, BU Heads); foster a high-performance, accountable culture.
• Stakeholder & Capital Relations: Represent Damot to sovereign governments, UN agencies, AfDB/World Bank, and private equity/investors.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or Finance
• 15+ years of senior executive leadership in East African infrastructure, manufacturing, or conglomerates
• Proven track record in infrastructure/trade/logistics in Africa

• Group Revenue & EBITDA: 100% of annual plan
• Bid Win Rate ≥ 35%
• 100% Consolidated Revenue vs. Plan
• 80% EAC Nationals in Mid/Senior Management
• Market Share Growth: Across Construction, Logistics, and Manufacturing BUs
• Safety & ESG: Zero fatalities; 100% ESG compliance
