To guide the Board on regional integration strategies, leveraging EAC and IGAD protocols to maximize tariff-free trade, cross-border labor mobility, and humanitarian logistics.
Key responsibilities
- Regional Strategy: Advise on market entry, cross-border synergy, and EAC Customs Union optimization.
- Diplomatic Relations: Leverage networks with the EAC Secretariat, IGAD, and national ministries to facilitate Damot's operational expansion.
- Trade Compliance Oversight: Ensure the Group's AEO and Rules of Origin strategies align with evolving regional bloc policies.
Qualifications
- Master's in International Relations, Trade Law, or Economics
- 15+ years in regional diplomacy, EAC Secretariat advisory, or cross-border trade facilitation

- 80% EAC localization target attainment
- Zero material cross-border regulatory incidents
- Successful penetration of new EAC/IGAD markets as per strategic plan
- Zero cross-border trade blockages due to regulatory misalignment
