Group Sustainability & ESG Officer

Purpose

To integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into the Group's core strategy, ensuring alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and investor expectations.

Key responsibilities

• ESG Strategy & Reporting: Develop the Group ESG framework; produce annual sustainability reports for stakeholders, donors, and investors.
• Community & Social Impact: Oversee community engagement programs, local content initiatives, and grievance mechanisms for affected communities.
• Green Initiatives: Champion carbon footprint reduction, waste management, and sustainable sourcing practices across all BUs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or International Development
• 5+ years in ESG reporting, sustainability management, or corporate social responsibility (CSR), preferably in infrastructure or manufacturing

Performance indicators

• ESG report completion rate 100%
• Zero compliance penalties
• 1% Net Profit CSR allocation fully disbursed per V3.1 framework
• Annual ESG Report Publication: 100% on schedule
• Community Grievance Resolution: 100% within 30 days
• Achievement of annual carbon/waste reduction targets
