Group Cost Estimator

Purpose

Acts as the centralized, neutral estimating authority for the Group. Develops accurate BOQs, cost estimates, and tender pricing across all Business Units to ensure competitive and profitable bidding.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for multi-BU tenders and cross-border synergies.
• Source vendor quotes and historical data for accurate cost estimation across diverse sectors.
• Maintain a centralized, Group-wide historical cost database to inform future bids.
• Support the Engineering Consultancy BU with financial modeling for multilateral donor bids.
• Provide independent cost-verification for internal cross-BU transfers (e.g., Manufacturing to Construction).

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
• 5+ years estimating experience across diverse sectors (construction, logistics, trade, or manufacturing)
• Strong proficiency in ERP estimating modules

• Estimate accuracy ± 5%
• BOQ turnaround < 3 business days
• 100% support for all BU tender pipelines
• Zero cost-overruns attributed to initial estimating errors
