EAC Export & Compliance Officer

Purpose

Process Certificates of Origin (CoO) ensuring 100% duty-free intra-regional trade of manufactured goods.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all Ethiopia-to-EAC export documentation.
• Liaise with ERCA and EAC Secretariat for trade compliance.
• Resolve cross-border tariff disputes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Law, International Trade, or Supply Chain
• 4+ years EAC trade compliance/customs in manufacturing sector

Performance indicators

• CoO turnaround < 3 days
• 100% duty-free compliance
• Zero border seizure incidents
• Zero customs penalties
